The Streaming Giant Chooses Spot-On Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Third Season

The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until season 3, and a adored, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that Cole Escola is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. The role can use their power to transform into an exact copy of any person they’ve touched with their dominant hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that figure reimagined as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action series, as in the initial comic and anime.

The new cast member joins several other recently announced actors tasked with bringing the organization to the screen, featuring chief the main antagonist, brought to life by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is also part of the ensemble as the ruler of the fictional land.

Although Bon Clay is a key figure of Baroque Works, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this represents a major departure in the placement of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.
