The Congressional oversight panel has released a collection of around 70 images secured from the holdings of late found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the body has secured from Epstein's estate. It includes images of excerpts from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and censored images of women's international passports.

This release arrives hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to release all files connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photographs raise additional queries about precisely what the Justice Department has in its holdings," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Released

Several of the photos made public on this week show Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates seen next to a individual whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a table opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest wealthy, powerful individuals to be pictured in Epstein property photographs disclosed by the committee - previously released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, former US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photos is does not constitute evidence of any illegal activity, and many of the photographed figures have asserted they were in no way implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release released with the image disclosure, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not provide context or timeframes for the images.

"Photos were selected to offer the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the images acquired from the property, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's associates and his profoundly alarming actions," the announcement states.

The publication also includes multiple images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in ink across various areas of a woman's body, such as her chest, feet, hipbone, and back. Lolita recounts the story of a minor who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the work written across a woman's chest reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photos of women's passports and official papers from nations around the world, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the details on the documents, including names and DOBs, is censored but the committee indicated in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were involved with".

An additional photo depicts Epstein sitting at a table closely in the company of three female figures whose identities have been redacted - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and a second is crouching to view a nearby laptop. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the final person fasten a bracelet.

Another image released is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unidentified sender who says they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per girl".

Photo Publication Occurs Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The body has thousands of photographs in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously graphic and ordinary," its announcement on recently noted.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein estate's representatives submitted to the panel are distinct from what is commonly referred to "the Epstein files". Those files are documents under the Department of Justice's possession connected to its own investigation into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President enacted last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to release its documents. The extent of what's contained in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's expected that a large amount of the material will be heavily obscured, akin to House Oversight Committee documents
